Adrian Mitov is a multifaceted artist whose creative journey spans continents, from the historic streets of Sofia, Bulgaria, to the vibrant artistic hubs of Los Angeles and New York City. Born and raised in Sofia, Adrian's early passion for art led him to attend a fine arts high school, where he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the craft.
Eager to explore further, Adrian moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at the esteemed Otis College of Art and Design, immersing himself in the city’s dynamic artistic landscape. Under the guidance of renowned mentors, he expanded his creative horizons, experimenting with various mediums to refine his unique artistic voice.
After graduating, Adrian embarked on a successful 12-year career as a graphic designer in Los Angeles, cultivating a keen eye for composition and visual storytelling. While thriving in design, his passion for fine art remained a constant, particularly his love for working with pastels—a medium he feels best captures the emotion, texture, and vibrancy of his subjects.
Today, as a full-time artist based in West Hollywood, Adrian devotes himself to creating evocative works that highlight his fascination with portraiture and the human form. His mastery of pastels allows him to bring depth and richness to his pieces, capturing the essence of his subjects in a way that feels both intimate and timeless.
